133. British Winter Time

Here comes the British Winter Time! Have you put your clocks and watches back by 1 hour? We could stay in bed for 1 extra hour in the morning^^

It feels fast. I just changed the time for the summer time the other day, but again we have to change it for the coming winter. Refer to my old entry for the reason why the UK has adopted the summer time.

So, the time difference between the UK and Japan is now 9 hours, i.e. if the UK is 12.00 noon, Japan is 9.00pm on the same day.

As time has gone back by 1 hour, we see the darkness 1 hour earlier and I have to think about going back home 1 hour earlier. Hmm... I prefer staying on campus as long as I can because I cannot study at home.

Even if moaning, gloomy winter is coming anyway (@@)

Hi, Momoko san,

Sorry, I cannot understand winter time.
Japan doesn't adopt summer time or winter time,
I think, because I have never heard of it.
On the earth which countries adopt summer time or winter time?
I cannot imagine how I feel feel.

Hello lucky mom san,

What about the winter/summer time do you not understand?
Times go forward by 1 hour when starting the summer time and go back by 1 hour when starting the winter time.

I had a quick look at the net and found that about 70 countries in the world adopt the summer time.
Japanese: http://www.w-time.com/st.php
English: http://home.tiscali.nl/~t876506/TZworld.html (I couldn't find better website for English)

Japan had (still?) an argument about the introduction of the summer time before, but I deeply hope they do not adopt it. I'm against it because I feel I'm wasting time throughout the year!

Hello Momoko san.

Winter comes around!(^^;
It is getting dark earlier.
But I like the winter time in England.
Because I don't mind what should I wear every day! I always wear the coat!(^^)

I think that Japan isn't necessary to have a Summer time. Every March and October I maight confuse.

Hello maki san!

Do you find "winter" around you over there too?

> Because I don't mind what should I wear every day! I always wear the coat!(^^)

Hahaha, exactly!!

> Every March and October I maight confuse.

I totally agree!
It happens that some church goers arrive the church at wrong hour.
